JVC Everio Camcorder

Great camcorder. Purchased earlier this year. It records to a hard drive. Comes with pretty easy to use software and you can record everything to a DVD in almost a push of a button. I have uploaded videos to a blog site with no problems. Very easy to use and with 3 resolutions to choose from, you can decide upon the quality of the recording. SHOP AROUND. I found great deals online through BestBuy.com, but they wouldn't honor them in the store, and went across the street to Circuit City and found it for $50 less. Surf the web or call around - but get one!

Nikon D50 Digital SLR

LOVE THIS CAMERA!!! We have had this camera 3 years now. AWESOME. The quality of the photos brings compliments frequently. No problem blowing up the photos to print 8 x 10's. Instant photo taking - which means everything when you have 4 little kids running around and you're trying to catch them in the 90 seconds before a fight breaks out! =) Biggest recommendation - comparison shop online and know what kind of lens(es) you will want ahead of time. They are being sold all over the place. I got ours on Ebay (new) and had a little issue with the vendor trying to upsell me on a longer life battery (never had a problem with it - I took the standard one), but other than that, it was a positive experience.

Rainbow Fish Shower Curtain and Hooks

Purchased from Target - this shower curtain and matching hooks have been great. We have had them up for over a year now and no complaints. I think we dropped one hook and a fin broke off (quickly repaired with a little super glue), but other than that - I'd say it is a great value. No torn holes in the shower curtain, and we are still using all of the hooks. I do have a mid range vinyl curtain liner on the inside and that has probably reduced the wear and tear on it, but we have 4 kids and it definitely gets used!

This dispenser was also purchased from Amazon - they had the best price by far. Love this one too. The bar soap that my husband still uses has a place and they have a little shelf on top. I use less shampoo and shower gel, which is awesome! The only down side to this one was the installation. Being married to a 'tool man' helped us quite a bit. They provide a long hanger thing, but the whole dispenser flops around quite a bit on that, so we adhered it to the wall - also, make sure the soap dish is attached BEFORE you adhere to the wall. With the dispenser adhered firmly to the wall, the shelf on top is quite stable and as you can see, will easily hold 3 decent sized shave cream cans. Highly recommended!!!

Three Chamber Shower Dispenser by Ultimate

I got this item (after much searching) on Amazon. As you can tell from the photo - this is up in our kids' bathroom. I love this thing! It not only creates more space by not having to have the individual bottles in the shower, but it also eliminates all kinds of other issues. We had problems with kids leaving lids off or open and the bottles filling with water, problems with the ginormous bottle of shower gel from Sams being too big for the kids to handle properly, and problems with them using too much. Not any more! I highly recommend this one!
